Who I Work With
I absolutely LOVE working with Christian women and college students to help them repair their relationship with food and body while also growing in their faith with the Lord!
One of my top priorities as a nutrition practitioner is getting to know my clients beyond their surface nutritional concerns. So many people’s “food struggles” stem from a much deeper root that cannot be fully dealt with by simply being put on a meal plan or changing your eating habits.
I'm trained to help you dig deeper to discover how those root issues are affecting the way you think and feel about your body and the food you choose to eat (or might be avoiding). I believe that working with a team of healthcare providers and qualified movement professionals provides a more holistic approach to ensure a high quality of care.
That’s why I frequently refer my clients to therapists, psychiatrists, MDs, and (carefully vetted) movement instructors. YOU are the primary member of your healthcare team, and I see part of my job as helping you find your voice and grow in your confidence to make informed and autonomous decisions about your own health without feeling a need or obligation to have a dietitian (or anyone else) make your food-related decisions for you.

Whether you’ve been officially diagnosed with an eating disorder, have a tendency to categorize foods as “good” or “bad”, or you simply want to see yourself in a better light so that you can nourish your body without experiencing feelings of guilt or shame, I would love an opportunity to work with you.
My faith plays a strong role in the way I approach food freedom and recovery, so if you’re searching for someone to come alongside you that will encourage your foundation of faith as you seek food and body freedom, I’m your girl ;)
*I do not work with clients who follow a vegan diet as it is highly restrictive and presents a major challenge in getting past food fears during the recovery process.
All other dietary lifestyles are welcome (though I may still challenge you on them if potentially appropriate/beneficial for your recovery).
